Now in its third year, NXT: The Future of EHS is expanding on key components of what differentiates it from a traditional safety conference. We want to make this experience unlike any other.

We’re bringing together 70 EHS professionals from all industries and backgrounds to help shape the future of EHS through best practice and knowledge sharing. We want to help expand your network while providing the opportunity to learn future-proof insights to take back to your safety program.

This conference is for you, yes you, who is reading this right now – a change agent, a safety leader, and a safety nerd. Everyone dedicated to safety has a spot at NXT.

Still not convinced?

We have 3 reasons to help move the needle:

  1. Inspirational Keynote & Customer-Exclusive Headliner

We’re thrilled to be hosting exciting speakers to get your gears moving. We like to think out of the box and our speakers truly embody that.

Our keynote speaker, Will Gadd, is a Champion Ice Climber and Paraglide Pilot. He’s also a 4x Canadian National Sport-Climbing Champion and 3x Gold Medal X Games Champion. So how does he relate to safety?

Will Gadd has been in the presence of the world’s most dangerous environments and will be speaking on topics he lives daily: Excellence, resiliency, seizing opportunity, high performance outcomes and risk mitigation in low-knowledge environments.

His inspirational stories from experiences across the world drive home points to resonate with every person – regardless of their background.

A second speaker we’re thrilled to highlight is a customer- exclusive headliner – Lance Robinson.  As the Director of Safety – 1st Marine Division – Environmental Compliance Liaison, he isn’t someone you get to meet very often.

His inspirational stories from experiences across the world drive home points to resonate with every person – regardless of their background.

Based out of Camp Pendleton, California, Lance Robinson has had 11 years of active duty in the Marine Corps. After those 11 years, Lance continued his career with the Reserves and was hired on with the First Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF) where he was deployed three more times in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, Afghanistan.

Lance and his fellow Marines abide by One Team, One Fight. He will be sharing his personal experiences and tactics from his 11+ years of military service.

His passion for strengthening safety culture and doing so in a high-risk environment is key for all attendees. Learning from our brave members of the military is not only an honor, but an experience to be remembered and brought back to safety programs across the country.

Connect with the Best in EHS

The intimate nature of NXT: The Future of EHS allows attendees to connect with each other on a different, personal level. Instead of talking about what the weather is like for an hour, attendees dive into the importance of why they’re attending.

More so, attendees divulge into their experiences from the workplace and learn from one another. We’re proud to be hosting members from our recently launched Safety Nerd Community, and some of the best safety leaders from across North America.

These individuals have an opinion – and a memorable one at that. The insight you will learn from one another is unlike any you will experience at a large industry conference.

Thought Leadership

Throughout the year, eCompliance hosts various webinars, releases case studies and whitepapers, and speaks at multiple associations on varying thought leadership topics.

So why does it matter for us to include thought leadership as a reason to attend? Because we’re not only showcasing our research but that of many other safety champions in our space.

We will be hosting a CEO panel to explore the mind of executives who constantly balance the emphasis of business growth and safety.

On our CEO panel, we’re excited to include:

Richard Jackson, COO, Spark Power

With 20 years of leadership and energy service experience, Richard oversees the Spark Power operating companies bringing an unwavering sense of community and passion to his team. Richard has also spent 19 years in the electrical equipment manufacturer’s industry in several senior roles in sales and operations.

Chris Payson, CEO and Founder, Reach Wireline and Hybrid Completion Tools

Bringing 15+ years of experience in energy service, Chris is avid about front-line workforce participation and keeping his workforce safe, every day. His entrepreneurial attitude has brought him success in founding and leading two start-ups: American Eagle Raingutters and CDK Perforating.

Aside from having a panel discussion, we believe it’s integral to dive deeper into specific topics within our industry. Namely, data. Paul Kobishop, Global Director of Quality, Lean, and Safety from Reynolds Polymer Technology, will be discussing Using Data as a Competitive Advantage.

After over two decades in operations management, Kobishop’s extensive training has shaped the trajectory of Reynolds Polymer’s strategical processes. After this session, you will be able to take specific tactical learnings with you to shape your own company’s trajectory.
