Safety Nerd Best Practices

At the end of the day, we all have the same mission – to grow a business while protecting our most valuable assets – our people.

A popular question which we’re asked during every client call is ‘What are other companies doing to protect their people?’ Sharing tips and tactics is vital during this time in order to persevere, so that is exactly what we are highlighting today!

We have heard of several new policies and procedures customers now have in place – especially if their organization has been deemed an essential service. The most common are:

• Do not come to work if you are feeling ill/showing symptoms.

• Signage as reminders for hand washing and social distancing.

• Staggered start times, break times, and lunches.

• Communication and resources for employees, especially when it comes to mental health.

• Daily self-assessment/check in forms that include questions about health, exposure, etc. (please see our COVID-19 related forms in our Template Library).

• Electronic delivery of courses vs. in-person training (Find out more about our eLearning options).

• PPE such as gloves, masks, and eye protection.

One of our clients also recently chatted about prepping to go back to the office and shared the following with us:

• Consider all traffic areas such as hallways, bathrooms, kitchens, coffee makers etc. and see where you can mitigate risks.

• Look for touchless solutions where possible: hand soap, faucets, hand drying, waste disposals/garbage cans, doors, etc.

To find out more about what customers have been doing to protect their workforce, check out our Safety Nerd Best Practices, and feel free to add company tactics that have been working well for you and your team!

Congratulations to Our July Onboarding Graduates!

In order to set you up for success when starting your partnership with eCompliance, we offer an onboarding service which includes form and reporting consults and training sessions. To ensure we’re delivering the best-in-class onboarding experience, we follow-up each completed onboarding with a survey.

In this month’s newsletter, we’d like to walk you through a theme we’ve identified in our survey responses that has led to the highest success in onboarding:

The teams who are truly invested in safety, from top management down to end-users, get through onboarding the fastest and drive the most adoption of eCompliance post-onboarding. These are the teams who believe in the power of front-line participation and use eCompliance to close the loop between what is happening on the front-lines and safety policies being created.

Finally, congratulations to Nova Construction and California Drilling & Blasting, our July customers who have graduated from our onboarding program! Everyone’s feedback on our survey has been critical for us to hone in on the key elements to a successful onboarding experience.

We look forward to continue working on your long-term success on the Customer Success Coaching side!

Your eCompliance Upgrade

As we prepare for the big launch of eCompliance 7.0, you may have noticed your app was upgraded to eCompliance 6.1.8. This was done yesterday (Monday, July 27th) to help provide a smoother transition to our new app, eCompliance 7.0 – coming soon!

Time to unleash the next wave of safety innovation!

Introducing eCompliance 7.0:

Faster load times

Improved reliability

French & Spanish localization

Revamped app design – This will provide an improved user-experience and user interface to make the app easier to navigate.

Searchable templates & sites – Users can now search for forms and sites to make finding forms easier and completing them faster.

Pull to refresh – This will be available on all listing views and now syncs to specific modules. As a result, pull to refresh within Action Items is now 10x faster because it only syncs for Action Items.

• Notification feedback –  This feature will be provided when the device goes offline and when all items created offline are submitted successfully.

Two way sync for web-created action item attachments – All images/files will be visible and can be updated on mobile.

Offline sync for action items – Works for action items with notification feedback upon completion.

Better caching – Listing views will all be cached, so you won’t lose your place if you go back after navigating to a new screen.

We are on a mission to help strengthen your processes and simplify your everyday tasks. We’re always open to suggestions, so please reach out to your Customer Success Coach with ways that we can improve.
