Sales and Marketing Operations Manager

The Position

We are looking for a Sales & Marketing Operations Manager to help drive the strategy, execution and management of our sales and marketing processes, tools, analytics and reporting. In this role, you will report to the Director, Operations and support the Sales Team, the Marketing Demand Generation Team and our Customer Success Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the pre and post-sales and marketing technology stack for sales, marketing and customer success including the CRM (Salesforce, Gainsight) and marketing automation system (Marketo) and recommend & evaluate new tools
  • Work with sales and marketing leadership to optimize lead flow, sales processes and sales methodologies to maximize ROI and productivity
  • Help sales, marketing and senior leadership make data driven decision by developing and maintaining sales and marketing analytics, reporting, KPIs and dashboards.
  • Assist marketing in the execution of all digital communications with prospect and customer base, including a variety of product-based drip and nurture campaigns
  • Work with sales and product marketing to leverage sales enablement content and training to increase sales productivity
  • Proactively identify and prioritize opportunities for continuous improvement

Requirements

  • 5+ years of working in a digital marketing/marketing and sales operations role in technology (B2B SaaS preferred)
  • Extensive experience working with CRM tools and specifically Salesforce.com
  • Highly skilled with marketing automation tools such as Marketo and reporting tools like Google Analytics.
  • Expert in Excel analysis and reporting
  • Excellent understanding of sales and marketing processes and methodology in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Experience in SFDC Hygiene and Data Clean-up projects
  • Exceptional analytic and ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is – or isn’t – working
  • Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment and manage several priorities simultaneously
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to demonstrate collaboration and communication skills in dealing effectively with various teams/departments across an organization
  • Dedication to detail and accuracy
  • Must be a team player
  • Start-up / scale-up experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, marketing or related discipline

Experience:

  • Sales and Customer Success Operations, Digital Marketing/Marketing Operations: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Salesforce.com Experience (Preferred)
  • Salesforce.com Administrator Experience (Nice to Have)
