eC - Safety Survey™ is an automated internet based Health and Safety survey tool built on the most powerful, extensive, and flexible survey software in the market today. The survey is delivered electronically to multiple employees simultaneously through standard web browsers - no technical skill or installation of software is required. This allows eCompliance to rapidly collect data across your entire organization while ensuring the anonymity of the respondents and reducing data reentry and rework. The eC - Safety Survey™ supports any survey requirements, but is specialized for the development and deployment of OHS surveys, such as safety culture surveys, root cause analysis surveys and Safety Awareness Survey Scorecard (eC-SASS™).

The eC-SASS™ is a specific survey configuration that was approved by the Alberta Partnerships Program in 2007 as the only survey based Certificate of Recognition (COR) maintenance option. A single eC-SASS replaces the time consuming Internal Maintenance Audits in BOTH years following re-certification providing savings of up to 78% over the standard maintenance options. Though approved by all the Certifying Partners, the SASS has not yet been implemented by all and currently the following provide this alternative to their members:

• Alberta Association of Safety Partnerships (AASP)
• Alberta Forest Products Association (AFPA)
• Manufacturer's Health and Safety association (MHSA)

In order to use the eC-SASS as a COR maintenance option in Alberta an organization must meet the following criteria:

• The employer must apply to their Certifying Partner for use of the Safety Survey process within the first quarter of the first maintenance year after COR re-certification (March 31).
• The organization’s Certifying Partner must pre-approve an employer for use of the Safety Survey as a maintenance option.
• The employer’s current COR must be in good standing and have been active for a minimum of four (4) consecutive years.
• The employer must have achieved a minimum overall score of 90% on their last external recertification audit.
• Safety Surveys can only be used by large employers in the regular COR program.
• The survey must be completed within 90 days of registration (no later than June 30 of the given year)
